Abstract

This chapter is written from my perspective, as a staff member at Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education (NICIE) who has worked, over the last six years, with a focus on providing opportunities for teachers to consider why and how their role places an onus on them to maximize on the diversity within their integrated environment in order to create a rich, meaningful, and valuable educational experience.
