This interview was conducted before Jerry Cohen’s death in August 2009. Simon Tormey: Jerry, many thanks for agreeing to be interviewed. I wonder if I could start by asking you about the project for which you are perhaps best known: analytical Marxism. What became of the project – and should we regard it as a success or a failure?
