Abstract
Over the past few years, Islamic Finance (IF) higher education has attracted worldwide attention. This chapter proposes to study the geoeducational dynamics of the development of this newly emerging discipline. In this geo-educational rivalry, some interesting facts are coming out. For instance, in terms of the number of programmes provided by higher education institutions, Britain is outpacing the mother countries of IF such as Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Malaysia, on the other hand, is striving to consolidate its position to become an educational hub for IF. What does this dynamism tell us about the current and future cartography of IF education? Which countries and/or regions are going to take a lead? What sort of realities might develop at universities, departments and other higher educational institutions? Finally what sort of implications will these developments have for the flows of IF discipline?
