Abstract

If a country’s development model is simply a summary of what it has done, every country necessarily has one. But only those of established or rising powers or those with intrinsic evolutionary merits interest mainstream international relations scholars, because of their influence in shaping world political economy and world distribution of power. As a rising power, China’s model is, and should be, a focal point for studies.
