Abstract

According to gestalt therapy, the human organism consists of two systems through which it communicates with the world: the sense apparatus, and the movement apparatus.1 In the modern era’s Cartesian worldview, these systems are separate, whereas in the holistic terms of humanistic psychology, thoughts, feelings, and actions are made of the same substance and can be transferred between systems.
