Abstract
In terms of typical foods consumed, chicken ranks highly on the list of meats arriving at dinner tables globally. Indeed, poultry products in general appear to garner widespread acceptance as a meat consumed regardless of religion, ethnicity, or creed. It appears to be universally agreed that, in the process of preparing poultry products, they must be thoroughly cooked before consumption. No one ever asks how well cooked you like your chicken before serving it. It is typically well done or nothing.
