Abstract
The previous chapter concluded that researchers have not responded to conservative authors’ arguments about the need to investigate people’s choices between unattractive jobs and claimant unemployment, and that they have ignored conservatives’ pleas to pay attention to the views of professionals who work with unemployed claimants. This chapter uses these conclusions as the starting point for the development of a detailed research plan.
