Abstract
Many educational systems in the world, including that in Bahrain, rely on globally produced materials to teach English. However, these materials are not developed for a specific context. Efforts were made to adapt global materials to meet the specific needs of the Bahraini context by making them appropriate for the traditions, beliefs, and values of their learners, teachers and culture.
