Abstract
Can anyone live without dreams or hopes? Can a people or social group live without hope or without a utopian horizon? Perhaps there are people living without dreams or hopes, but such lives become dull, without feeling, and without grace. To dream and have hopes are necessities almost as vital as eating and drinking, as we are biological and symbolic beings, and we need to discover a meaning and reason for living.
