Abstract
The last decade of the twentieth century and early into the start of the new millennium presented us with a large number of news issues related to the question of corporate governance. We of course assume under this barrage of news that the corporate executive community has become totally corrupt. This is far from the truth in the majority of cases but brings down on honest business leaders increasing pressure to prove their openness and trust in order to create or maintain stakeholder confidence.
