Abstract
Lesson plans for children with disabilities need to emphasize dialogue and process, integrity of materials, sensory motivation, and self-reflection. Whether in a self-contained or inclusion classroom, all children benefit from lesson planning that hold these values as priorities. As discussed in chapter one, strategies with students with special needs and regular students are different in intensity rather than in kind. All children need lessons that emerge from the culture of the classroom and the individuality of their lives.
