Abstract
As I indicated at the beginning of this book this analysis has ignored the question of whether or not miraculous conception may be possible. Yet the tremendous amount of evidence explored in the previous chapters suggesting that divine birth may well have been a bona fide religious practice attempted in ancient Greece naturally leads one to wonder: Is there any scientific possibility that women ever could have produced children without the participation of human males?
