    Select the best of those alternatives (Chapter 6)

  5. 5.

    Synthesize steps 2–4 in a new strategy (Chapter 7)

  6. 6.

    Implement that new strategy (Chapter 8)

  7. 7.

    Change critical departments in search of new efficiency (Chapter 9).
