In fosys designed and implemented the Global Delivery Model which set the foundation for IT services outsourcing from India. Offshore technology services let companies reduce the cost of IT infrastructure and related labor expenses, improve quality and innovation, improve the speed of delivery of technology solutions, and introduce more scheduling flexibility. In fosys’s services today range across business and technology consulting, application services, systems integration, product engineering, custom software development, maintenance, re-engineering, independent testing and validation services, IT infrastructure services, and business process outsourcing. In fosys has R&D centers in six countries. In fiscal 2006, the company spent 102 Rs. Crore (1 Crore equals 10 million) on research and development, representing 1.13 percent of sales revenue.
