Abstract
After the April resignations the rump of the NU executive had settled down to consolidate its position and to work, doubtless more comfortably, on other matters of concern to them. But in order to lay the matter of attitude to the war finally to rest, and to fill the vacant positions, a Special Council was called for June 1915, to meet in Birmingham.
