Editing a Bridge Journal

  • Chapter

Abstract

This chapter started out with a different title. The intention was that I write a chapter about editing a niche journal; however, as I wrote and rewrote, I came to the conclusion that Human Resource Management (HRM), for which I am editor-in-chief, is not really a niche journal at all. In fact, since taking on the editor’s role three years ago, our editorial team has purposely expanded our audience, working to make the Journal less niche-oriented.
