Abstract

The myriad recent legislation relating to stress within the workplace and the responsibility of employers to assess and manage the risk of stress for their employees has resulted in confusion and concern for many organizations. Cary Cooper suggests that employers are worried because they think all the employee has to do is mention the word “stress” and they are going to be in trouble.
