Abstract

The focus of this chapter is the evaluation of an initiative to introduce a modern foreign language into the primary school curriculum in Ireland, the Primary Modern Language Project (PMLP). The initiative and its evaluation share five features with the Expatriate English Language Teachers’ Scheme (EELTS) case study presented in chapter 7.
