The development of a sound strategy is merely academic if not translated into the appropriate implemention tactics. It is accepted that tactics must follow a strategy, but at the same time the strategy must be established to enable the tactics to be deployed. It is therefore crucial that, in the creation and finalization of the strategy approach, due consideration is given to the question ‘How?’. Strategies not linked to practical implementation have little chance of success.
