The concept of partnering and collaboration is well established as an alternative operating approach to traditional conflict-based trading relationships. What perhaps has not been given wider consideration is collaboration and partnership both vertically and horizontally, for internal relationships across organizations. To exploit the energy of an organization fully it is essential to remove all barriers to co-operation.
