Abstract

Many parents succeed in giving their children roots. Fewer succeed in giving wings. Fewer still succeed in instilling both. It’s not too late, however, to start to work at it. For many of you the ideas we have proposed in this book will take time to accept. That’s all right. The road back to creativity is never the same for any two people.

There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. One of these is roots, the other wings.
