Upward spirals: life-long learning

Only by continuing to learn are we able to find answers to changing circumstances and new questions. This is why life-long learning is considered to be of increasing importance in most organisations, of all kinds. In order to remain ‘professional’, professionals must constantly develop within their own professional practice. It is therefore useful to take a look at long-term learning — the processes that occur when we consider certain questions intensively over a long period.
