Abstract

This chapter follows the description of Kolb’s learning styles in his book Experiential Learning (1984). Kolb bases his model on the pairs of terms introduced in the previous chapter:

  • apprehension versus comprehension (the type of ‘knowing’)

  • internal processing versus external processing (the type of ‘transformation’).
