The environmental movement is now a huge industry, with turnovers measured in billions of dollars. Although they try to portray themselves as altruistic amateurs, nothing could be further from the truth. These are finely honed, well-financed and highly efficient publicity machines. Just ask Shell, Exxon, Monsanto, Nestlé or almost any multinational.
