Abstract

If one looks at the impact of external communications, then the channel with the greatest impact is the media. It is instantaneous, independent and universal. From newspapers to TV and radio and now the Internet, the media is everywhere. As noted in Chapter 6, the media sets the agenda, it acts as magnifying glass on tiny details and it is relentless.
