Abstract

Professor Joseph Rotblat has left us with a considerable legacy. He managed to ignite a flame from far within the frigid depths of the Cold War, which has gently grown over the past decade. The fire is large enough now that many leaders around the world have been drawn in and entranced by its glow. Radiant with peace and love for humanity, Professor Rotblat’s blaze must be tended in the shifting and uncertain days ahead.

‘Nothing else in the world … not all the armies … is so powerful as an idea whose time has come.’

Victor Hugo
