Abstract
The adherence dimension measures the extent to which countries commit themselves to the four freedoms in the world of work and report thereon. To do this credibly, its methodology must fulfil the demanding criteria for indicators in the human rights field postulated earlier (Chapter 2.3), notably validity, transparency, reliability and objectivity.
