Planning the implementation details
To ensure that any changes we embark upon move quickly and progress smoothly, it is essential for us to consider the details of “how” a change should transpire. Right from the start, we will want to strive to create strong ownership for implementation by involving people in the process. We will also want to identify and prioritize the core activities of our change initiative, and consider the timing and sequencing of these activities. Effective communication throughout the process is essential, and we will want to create feedback loops to capture ideas and adjust the implementation plan accordingly. These steps will lead to success in the current change, and create a positive platform for future change initiatives.
