Abstract
We observe three types of coaching, as defined by:
-
the client’s development requirements
-
the coaching objectives implied by those requirements
-
the coaching response(s) appropriate to meet the objectives
These three types seem to fall along a continuum from ‘training’ to ‘development’, as illustrated in Figure 1.1.
