Margaret Thatcher and the Myth of Boedicia
Born in Grantham in Lincolnshire in 1925, Margaret Thatcher was destined to become the most influential female politician in British twentieth-century history. She was elected as leader of the Conservative Party in 1975 and became Prime Minister in 1979, and remained so until her resignation in November 1990.
