Abstract
Measures introduced here have been developed to understand tendencies in the distribution of economic activity. The merits of these measures are in the convenience of data collection and processing; the data used for constructing these measures is administrative- area data rather firm- level data, although the measures for firm-level data developed recently. In this chapter, the property of these measures, and the merits and limitations of using them, are summarized.
