Abstract
At the start of this volume, we constructed an analytic foundation built on theory, method, and evaluative criteria to explain the causes and effects of CSDP operations. The more scholars and practitioners know what the drivers and effects of CSDP actions are, the better they are able to evaluate EU foreign policy, of which CSDP is one, relatively new, instrument.
