Abstract
Offshore sourcing is becoming more and more an important player within the field of outsourcing. This chapter looks further into the context where companies perform their development work in a distributed setup with an offshore location. The Scrum method is one of those methods which has been proven to be successful in the field; however, there is not yet consensus about the best strategy to use in a distributed setup. By combining both a literature research and case studies focusing on both ends of the outsourcing chain we will investigate different strategies to use with distributed Scrum and when we should focus on a certain collaboration strategy.
