Abstract
In Erik van de Loo’s case a manager faces mutiny among his staff as the result of office relocation and asks the coach to help him deal with the situation. The coach, working with a colleague, faces aggressive resistance from participants in a group coaching session, who start scapegoating the coaching team. The coaches need to find a way out of a hostile situation while maintaining control. The case is followed by self-reflection questions that give the reader the opportunity to provide his or her own commentary on the coach’s story.
