Abstract

In all our examination of the difficulties of management we have so far carried out, one vitally important element has been missing. The link between practical management tasks and successful outcomes, is the development of good links with staff. How we broker our relationships is the topic we will now look at, before considering the changes we might make. Along the way we will also consider why, for many people, the relationships they make at work are the most significant ones in their lives on a day-to-day basis.
