Abstract
I very much enjoyed reading the chapters in this volume, and appreciate the opportunity to be able to offer something in the way of a critical commentary on the theory of normative institutionalism. As its title implies, the focus of this chapter is very much on the author’s own area of interest — security policy. Consequently, the focus here is on the chapters dealing with Ukraine, the International Criminal Court, Iraq, and particularly with Operation Artemis in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
