Abstract
‘One day suffices to rise or dampen all human fortunes,’ said Athena, goddess of wisdom, in Sophocles’ Ajax. The message conveyed by these ten words by the Goddess of Wisdom could not be stated in clearer terms, and it gets to the real root of the evil that has plagued the American and European economies for the last two and a half decades.
