Abstract
Over time, the stresses that executives endure can exact a physiological toll. Yet, not all stress is necessarily bad, nor does all stress have the same physiological impact. Bad stress or distress, however, results in the release of cortisol and cat-echolamines, which, over time, can result in physiological harm. Having a strong social support system, personal control and regular exercise are some of the most effective moderators of stress.
