Abstract

Chapter 17 gave us an introduction to talent management and all it involves. Guided by Maestro López Cobos and Dr Valentín Fuster, we identified certain people-management issues that are crucial to the cultural sector, just as they are to business in general. Now it is time to bring all this down to a practical level, making it tangible and operational. If you are a genius, like some of the people we saw in the previous chapters, there will be nothing new here, so you may prefer to skip this chapter and dwell instead on my colleague’s reflections on talent management.
