Abstract
The primary aim of the case study that has been presented in the previous chapters was to address the historical puzzle of why the Muslim minority in Western Thrace remained passive and disengaged from collaboration or resistance under the Axis occupation and insurgency during the civil war. The puzzle was founded on a number of factors that might have led the minority to a different course of action.
