Abstract

This chapter outlines the modest impact of the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) in the Middle East region. The chapter describes how the ENP is a departure from the previous EU policy toward the region and examines the potential for the policy to facilitate a more ambitious role for the EU in the Middle East.
