Abstract

Political campaigns, the strategy and the tactics, are generated at the head office HQ and this is exactly as it should be. If all works well this is replicated in the constituencies, and so the local campaign looks very similar. This chapter reviews how the Conservatives devised and implemented such a campaign in the 2005 General Election.
