Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is twofold: to conduct an in-depth analysis of the instruments of European Union foreign policy, and to conduct an analysis of how these instruments have been used within the context of the European Union’s policy towards the Arab-Israeli peace process in the years between 1991 and 2009.
