Against the Tide: Non-treatment Paradigms for the Twenty-first Century
In this chapter we continue our consideration of contemporary rehabilitation, but here we move away from the more explicitly ‘correctional’ modes of intervention which were considered in Chapter 6. In the present chapter we turn our attention to what might be termed a number of ‘non-treatment paradigms’: that is, contemporary developments in theory and practice which do not fit within the correctional mould, but which nonetheless clearly belong under the umbrella of rehabilitative initiatives.
