Abstract

The purpose of this book is to show the wide range of alternatives that are available in order to create sustainable energy systems for the future. We need to make use of a large number of new technologies, in different areas, that will contribute to the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions. The development, sales and implementation of these technologies will create a large number of new jobs in development, services (installation, maintenance and spare parts) and management of the new companies that will do business in these new industries. During the life of the transition program in each country, the program itself, and the projects that make up the program, will need managers, administrators and technical experts.
