Abstract

One last step remains before defining social intrapreneurship and rolling out a methodology for implementing it. That is to draw some lessons from the experience of social entrepreneurship. Doing so will show how much social entrepreneurship is embedded in the new paradigm described in this book. Social entrepreneurship, and social entrepreneurs, have for a long time been considered as something at the sideline of economy and society. However, in terms of both numbers and value, this is no longer the case, and increasingly social entrepreneurship gets attention even within the classical business school curricula.
