Abstract

Whether they are volunteers or conscripts, people seem to enjoy negotiation skills courses a great deal. They are rated much higher than those other soft-skill courses such as counseling or selecting, presenting or mentoring. The reason seems pretty simple: participants learn and practice a highly transferable skill.
