Abstract

In this chapter the micro-level interactions with services of the social welfare system that the people studied here had to assist them resolve their homelessness are analysed. To begin to unravel this, two specific services (supported accommodation, and housing and resettlement support workers) are first singled out for explicit examination. These two forms of support represent explicit targeting and case management of people due to the level of vulnerability, need and risk they represent.
