In Feminism Without Borders: Decolonizing Theory, Practicing Solidarity, Chandra Talpade Mohanty calls for “definitions, descriptions, and interpretations of Third World women’s engagement with feminism… [to] be simultaneously historically specific and dynamic, not frozen in time in the form of a spectacle” (2003, 48).1
