Abstract
My intention in this final chapter is to address two central questions: in the light of the issues and themes raised by other contributors throughout this book, where do we stand with digital education today? Secondly, what are the prospects, roles, and concerns for digital educators in the future? My starting point will be three educational cameos, two imaginary and one real, each designed to illuminate the subsequent discussion about the nature of learning and the role of digital education.
